We build the platform between your devices and your decisions.
Connected devices generate data. But data doesn't run operations — AI-powered platforms do. We build the systems that ingest, process, and apply machine learning to IoT data so your team can act on it before problems happen. From fleet GPS to factory sensors to patient monitoring, we've built the full stack — including the AI layer that turns raw signals into predictions.
Sound Familiar?
Problems we solve
Your devices are online but your team still makes decisions from spreadsheets.
You're collecting sensor data but can't act on it until someone manually pulls a report.
Your fleet tracking system doesn't talk to your dispatch, maintenance, or billing tools.
You've outgrown your first-generation IoT platform and need something that actually scales.
Your connected equipment sends alerts, but nobody trusts them enough to act on them.
You need real-time dashboards, not overnight batch jobs.
Capabilities
What we build
Fleet & Telematics Platforms
GPS tracking, geofencing, fuel management, driver behavior, and ELD compliance — built from the ground up.
We've built fleet telematics platforms from scratch — not integrations on top of someone else's system. Real-time vehicle tracking, geofence alerting, fuel consumption analytics, driver scorecards, and electronic logging. Our team ships fleet technology in production today, and we understand the operational reality: dispatchers need speed, drivers need simplicity, and managers need data they can trust.
Industrial IoT & AI-Powered Analytics
Sensor ingestion from production lines, AI-driven predictive maintenance, anomaly detection, and OEE dashboards that connect to your existing systems.
Factories generate enormous volumes of sensor data — vibration, temperature, pressure, cycle counts — but most of it never reaches the people who need it. We build the ingestion pipelines, machine learning models for anomaly detection, and real-time dashboards that turn raw sensor feeds into maintenance predictions and production insights. AI identifies failure patterns weeks before breakdowns happen. We integrate with SCADA, MES, and PLCs so your IoT layer works with your existing infrastructure, not around it.
Connected Equipment & AI Asset Intelligence
AI-powered utilization monitoring, failure prediction, and asset tracking across sites — from heavy machinery to portable tools.
When equipment is expensive and distributed, knowing where it is and how it's performing isn't optional. We build platforms that track asset location, monitor utilization rates, and use AI models to predict failures before they happen — giving operations teams a single view across every site. Machine learning trained on your equipment's historical data identifies the patterns that precede downtime, so your maintenance team acts on predictions, not alarms. Whether it's construction equipment, medical devices, or rental fleets — the platform pattern is the same, and we've built it.
Smart Buildings & Energy Management
HVAC optimization, occupancy sensing, energy monitoring, and building management system integration.
Smart building platforms sit at the intersection of comfort, efficiency, and compliance. We build the systems that connect occupancy sensors, HVAC controls, lighting automation, and energy meters into a single operational layer. The result: lower energy costs, better tenant experience, and the data trail facilities managers need for sustainability reporting and code compliance.
Agriculture & Environmental Monitoring
Soil and weather sensor networks, irrigation automation, cold chain monitoring, and environmental compliance.
Agricultural and environmental IoT deployments face a unique challenge: the devices are in the field, the connectivity is unreliable, and the data has to be actionable in real time. We build platforms that ingest sensor data from remote locations, handle intermittent connectivity gracefully, and use AI models to surface predictive alerts — whether that's optimizing irrigation schedules based on soil moisture forecasts, predicting cold chain failures before temperature excursions, or flagging environmental compliance thresholds before they're breached.
Healthcare IoT & Remote Monitoring
Remote patient monitoring, medical device data pipelines, wearable integration, and HIPAA-compliant data handling.
Healthcare IoT adds a layer most platforms aren't built for: compliance. We build remote monitoring platforms that ingest data from wearables, medical devices, and patient-facing hardware while maintaining HIPAA compliance at every step. We've built a mobile personal emergency response (mPERS) platform that connected pendant devices to alarm monitoring dispatch — GPS tracking, fall detection, real-time alerting, all flowing through a platform we designed and shipped. We build the platform, not the hardware.
The Difference
Why AppAxis
Every Layer, One Team
We understand the full stack — the device, the connectivity layer, the data pipeline, the application, and the dashboard. Most dev shops understand one layer. We've built all of them. You get one team that owns the problem end to end.
Actively Shipping
Our team ships IoT and fleet technology in production today — not from memory, but from active codebases we build and maintain right now. The technology is in our hands, not our résumé.
AI Built Into the Platform
Every IoT platform we build includes an AI layer — anomaly detection, predictive maintenance, pattern recognition. Not a bolt-on analytics add-on, but machine learning models trained on your device data that improve over time. Your platform gets smarter as it collects more data.
Platform Builders, Not Integrators
We don't bolt dashboards onto someone else's API and call it a platform. We build the ingestion layer, the processing logic, the AI engine, and the interface. When you need to change how the system works, you change your code — not someone else's pricing tier.
You Own the Code
IoT platform vendors lock you into proprietary systems with per-device fees that scale against you. We build on your infrastructure, deliver your source code, and transfer full ownership. Your platform grows with your fleet, not your vendor's invoice.
Scenario
Mobile Emergency Response Platform
Challenge
A healthcare services company needed a platform for mobile personal emergency response (mPERS). Customers would choose from a range of pendant and wearable devices offering GPS tracking, fall detection, and two-way communication — but there was no system to manage the devices, process alerts, or connect to alarm monitoring dispatch.
Solution
We built the full platform layer — device onboarding and lifecycle management, real-time GPS tracking, fall detection event processing, automated alert routing to a certified alarm monitoring center, and a customer-facing portal for account management. The platform supported multiple pendant hardware models and handled the integration between device events and human dispatch response.
Result
A fully operational mPERS service — from pendant activation to monitored emergency response — running on a platform the client owns. Customers could self-select devices, and every alert flowed through automated triage before reaching a live dispatcher. The platform, not the hardware, was the product.
Our Approach
How we work with IoT companies
Assessment
We start with your devices, your data flows, and your operational gaps. What's connected today? What isn't? Where does data die between the sensor and the decision? We map it before we propose anything.
Proposaltype
We deliver an interactive prototype built on your actual device data and workflows — not a slide deck with estimates. You see how alerts route, how dashboards render, how the platform handles your edge cases. You pressure-test it with your team before committing to a full build.
Weekly Showbacks
During the build, you see working progress every week. Real data flowing through real pipelines. You steer the project with your feedback, not a change-order process.
